Canyon Crossing Studio and Virtual Gallery
Take the POP ART QUIZ

Canyon Crossing Gallery was open from September 1996 - September 1998 in Brattleboro, VT.

A shoestring micro-gallery in the center of a small town, Canyon Crossing was a stepping stone venue for new artists, an arts community center, and a New England entry point for out-of-state artists.

Trina was a friend and ally to me for 20 years. She took my artwork seriously, and never failed to offer an honest critique of whatever I was doing. When I opened the gallery she supported that venture as well.

Her participation as a juror in the Fine Line Between Art & Illustration show
was just one small demonstration of her generosity with her
time and energy.

She has left us too soon and will be sorely missed.

Illustrators such as John Stadler and Chris Demarest (Eileen Christelow standing in for Gloria Kamen) became jurors in the annual Fine Line Between Art & Illustration show in 1998.

Book People visited the gallery too. Author Karen Hesse and Windham County Literacy Goddess Ruth Allard stand still for a photo.

Thought-provoking themes inspired brain-twisting visuals.

That would be me, positively goofy giddy at meeting
illustrator Erik Blegvad.
